#SofatoSafety education and awareness campaign popped up all over the Annapolis Valley to raise awareness about youth homelessness in the Valley, to explain that most often it looks like couch surfing and to share that this is dangerous for our youth because it can lead to sexual or criminal exploitation.

One way to help is by becoming a host home.

Similar to hosting an international student, host homes are screened and trained to have a youth in their home, provide a youth access to food and to be there for social support. Hosting varies in time commitment. Call us today if you are interested in finding out more.

Thanks to Huntley's Village Meat Market, Bistro 300 Coffee Shop, New Minas Gate's Insurance, Wolfville Farmer's Market, Kentville Farmer's Market, Roof Hound Brewing Co., The Town of Kentville and The Town of Berwick for supporting this campaign. And thanks to Canopy Creative for creating a video about the campaign for us.
